Heavenly Father,
As we step into the freshness of January 2024, we come before You with open hearts and hopeful spirits. We acknowledge that life brings its share of trials, and some of us are walking through valleys of shadows and uncertainty. In these moments, we cling to Your promises and Your unchanging word. Lord, we remember the words of Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”In times of distress, may we find solace in Your presence, knowing You are our safe haven and our fortress.
We draw comfort from Philippians 4:6-7, which encourages us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”May this peace, which is beyond our understanding, fill our hearts, especially when worries and fears try to overwhelm us. In the midst of our struggles, we are inspired by the courage of Esther, who, despite her fears, stood boldly for her people.
Grant us, O Lord, the same courage to face our challenges, trusting in Your perfect plan, as declared in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” We lean on the truth of Psalm 34:18, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” In our brokenness, may we feel Your closeness more than ever, and in our weaknesses, let Your strength be made perfect.
Father, As we journey through this month, let us hold onto Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Guide our steps, Lord, and lead us in paths that glorify Your name. Thank You for Your unfailing love, Your grace, and Your mercy that are new every morning. Help us to embrace each day with faith, knowing that You are with us, You are for us, and You will never leave us. In Jesus Christ name, we pray. Amen.
Receive Abba Father’s Love!
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1 NKJV
What a great way to start the year, knowing that the Father loved you so much that you are called His child! He was with you throughout the year last year, never left you, and carried you through! You are here now with a fresh start and another year to journey with God and witness His love and faithfulness in your life!
Beloved, not every child is wanted by their parents. Some children are despised, aborted, and hated the moment they are conceived, which is an unfortunate reality in human lives. But the Father – the Maker of Heaven and Earth; the One Who is Almighty God and Most Powerful Supreme Being – wanted you, chose you, and lavished His love on you by calling you His child! In the Father’s presence, we are all loved and wanted! That is why the world needs to know the Father’s love! May you be His instrument for this, beloved! Hallelujah!
Prayer point: Abba Father, thank You for lavishing Your love on us. Thank You for calling us Your children and making us sons in Christ Jesus. We are blessed to have a good Heavenly Father Who loves us, cares for us, and chooses us, in Jesus Christ name! Amen.
Heavenly Father,
You have shown us over and over again this past year, that You are a faithful God. Faithful to answer when we humble ourselves and pray. We know that with all of the trouble we’re seeing in the world today, we can stand firm, assured of Your faithfulness to work things out for our good.
On this second day of the new year, I want to pray for the people who are in need of solutions to some difficult situations in their lives. You said, that You would take the problems we encounter in our lives, and turn them around for our good if we ask. I’m asking that You would take the difficult challenges that many are facing, give them the solutions they need and let Your will be done in their lives today. May the Holy Spirit continue to strengthen, help, and guide each of us as He continues to lead our way. In Jesus Christ name we do pray, Amen…
